Each Eurovision season kicks off in September, when broadcasters set out to find the perfect entry. Here's a brief look at how things unfold:
- September: Countries mostly confirm participation and announce their song selection process. The qualifying date for songs is now - no earlier releases count!
- Autumn to March: National finals and internal selections light up screens across Europe, with local favourites and fresh talent entering the spotlight.
- Mid March: All entries need to be submitted, and the full Eurovision line-up is ready for the big stage.
