Welcome to Europarty! By accessing or using our app, you agree to our terms and conditions, which also include our community guidelines.
Community Guidelines: Celebrating Music Together
Respect and Inclusivity
We expect all users to treat each other with respect. Discrimination of any kind, including based on nationality, country of representation in the app, race, sexual orientation, gender, or other protected characteristics, is not tolerated. Eurovision and Europarty are for everyone - let's keep it welcoming for all.
A Politics-Free Space
This is a space to enjoy and celebrate Eurovision-related music without any political tones. Eurovision has always been about bringing people together through music, and our app reflects that spirit.
Honest Ranking
The app lists songs which were sent to and approved by the EBU according to the Eurovision Song Contest rules, songs which compete in national selections of the participating broadcasting members of the EBU, and other songs related to the Eurovision Song Contest. Rank songs based on your genuine opinions about the music. Celebrate the diversity of artists and performances, and keep the contest and usage of this app fun and fair.
Fair Representation
When registering or updating your user details, please choose the country that reflects your nationality, residence, or deep personal connection. Ideally, this should be the same country you would vote from if this was the Eurovision Song Contest.
Your name on the app should represent you - it can be your real name or a respectful personal and non-political pseudonym. Names commonly associated with political or geopolitical entities, and not used as personal names, are prohibited. Names are for identification, and not for spreading messages or opinions, regardless of their content. You must not impersonate any individual or entity, nor provide misleading information. You must not create more than one user for yourself.
Positive Sharing
When sharing any content from our app, do so with respect. Altering content in a manner that promotes negativity, exclusion, or discrimination is not allowed.
Upholding the Community
We reserve the right to address any behavior that doesn't align with these terms and conditions, including temporary or permanent account changes, suspension or termination. This includes but is not limited to behavior that is discriminatory, abusive, fraudulent, or impersonating another user.
Third-Party Authentication
Users may choose to register or sign in using supported third-party authentication services such as Apple or Google.
By using these services, you authorize Europarty to receive certain account information necessary for authentication, such as your email address and a secure authentication token. Europarty does not receive or store your third-party account passwords.
Use of these authentication services is also subject to the respective provider's terms and privacy policies.
In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Subscription and One-Time Payment Offerings
Europarty offers the following subscription plans for accessing additional features in the app:
- Europarty Fan: A one-month subscription that renews automatically.
- Europarty Superfan: A one-year subscription that renews automatically.
We also offer one-time payment options, not as part of a subscription:
- Scoreboard Single Pass: Unlimited access to a premium scoreboard of your choice (such as a national selection), including voting, playing results and hosting parties.
- Scoreboard Year Pass: Unlimited access to a all premium scoreboards of your year of choice (e.g. all national selections of a single year), including voting, playing results and hosting parties.
- Party Upgrade: A one-time purchase that allows a party host to increase the participant limit of a free party from 6 members to up to 150 members.
Premium Scoreboards and Parties
- Some scoreboards, such as those based on national selections or other premium content, are only available to paying users ("premium scoreboards").
- Users joining parties of premium scoreboards can play the party's results.
- Subscribers and other paying users may rank songs or edit their rankings in premium scoreboards covered by their purchase and in parties created for these scoreboards.
- Other users may still join and rank within premium scoreboard parties, provided the host is an active subscriber, they themselves subscribe or the host paid for the party's scoreboard.
- Free parties are limited to 6 participants. Hosts may increase this limit up to 150 participants through a Party Upgrade purchase.
Payment and Renewal
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal of a subscription within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.
- Users can manage subscriptions and disable auto-renewal through their respective Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings.
- No refunds or credits will be issued for any unused portion of the subscription period.
- One-time purchases are charged only once and do not automatically renew.
Cancellation Policy
- If you wish to cancel your subscription, you must do so via your App Store or Google Play account settings before the next billing cycle.
- Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must manually disable auto-renewal.
Changes to Pricing
- Europarty reserves the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. Any price changes will be communicated to users in advance, and users will have the option to cancel before the next billing cycle.
Display of User Information
Names
Your name may be displayed in parties, the Europarty League, and other current or future features. You will be prompted to decide whether to make your name public or remain anonymous outside of parties.
Countries
Users may choose to hide their country in parties, the Europarty League, and in future features, while still contributing to their country's vote in the global results.
Ranking and other data
Global results of scoreboards and other aggregated and anonymised information about usage of the app may be used for communication and promotional purposes, such as on social media and our YouTube channel. We will never include identifiable personal data, usernames, or individual user profiles when doing so.
Custom Scoreboards
Custom scoreboards allow users to privately create their own song lists and rankings for personal enjoyment and discovery, in line with Europarty's inclusive, music-focused, and non-political spirit. Titles, themes, and song selections must be respectful, neutral, and based on musical, artistic, or contest-related criteria, and must comply with our community guidelines. Custom scoreboards must not be created with the intent to exclude specific countries or participants, or to convey political or other non-neutral messages. We reserve the right to moderate or remove custom scoreboards that do not comply with these principles.
Data Privacy and GDPR Compliance
We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By using our app, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Modifications to Terms
We may revise these terms and conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be on our website.
